Since 1985, New Roots Herbal has been committed to the research of natural alternatives to prevent or cure illnesses. Located in Vaudreuil-Dorion, in south-western Quebec, the enterprise is marketing, in 11 countries, as much as 325 natural health products complying with the pharmaceutical requirements.

As the company was expanding, New Roots Herbal felt the need to get a more precise analytical tool, so it can continue to grow.

A new tool for a better growth management

“When Forgestik came in and implemented the system for us, we had a specific need of an inventory control, explained Patrick Quaile, vice-president. We asked for a QR code that enables us to have a very stiff control on the inventory, which is over 99%.”

On account of the possibility of adapting and adding modules to the system, the enterprise can now produce clear and accurate reports.

Besides this first upgrade, employees have now the ability to track any merchandise, no matter where it is in the factory. Thus, they know exactly where is located a product, from its entrance in the company to its delivery to retails, which means they have gotten a better control on the inventory and reduced the risk of errors.
