For Craft Floors, opting for SAP Business One for their ERP software was a natural choice. “We needed a complete solution that could meet our various needs by department, whether it be sales, accounts receivable, logistics or inventory management. Using the same software for the entire company allows everyone to have access to the same information at the same time, which is a tremendous advantage. SAP Business One is truly a complete solution, capable of overcoming challenges specific to our industry and our company,” summarizes Kevin Gessner, Controller and Operations Manager at Craft Floors. 

Speaking of challenges — The specificities of the American market definitely offer plenty. “Taxation in the U.S. is quite complex, and the financial module of SAP Business One makes our job much easier. It’s a huge time saver for us, and one less headache,” mentions Mr. Gessner.

The real-time information provided by the software is a fundamental aspect for the company. “No time is wasted searching for information. When a customer calls, we are able to provide them with the information they need because we have everything right at our fingertips,” mention Mr. Gessner.

“We can tell them when they can expect to receive their merchandise, see how many items we have in stock if they want to place an order right away. If we don’t have enough items, we can order them on the spot. One quick phone call is all it takes for our customers to have their questions answered. It is a definite advantage to maintain good customer relations, a value that is extremely important to us,” confirms Kevin Gessner.
